Jamie Foxx To Play Frank Sinatra?
This does not make any sense. British tabloids are reporting that comedian/actor Jamie Foxx is in the running to portray Rat Pack member, Frank Sinatra in the biopic on the life of Ol' Blue Eyes.
Rumors have been buzzing since Foxx appeared as a mentor on American Idol. We all know that Jamie Foxx is one talented man. He is a damn funny comedian, has an outstanding singing voice, and won an Oscar for playing Ray Charles. But this rumor is just crazy. You can't have a black man play a white man. It's just ridiculous. I think when the audience looks at Sinatra they want to believe that its him. There is no way by looking at Foxx you will believe you're looking at Frank, maybe Sammy Davis Jr., but not Sinatra.
Harry Connick Jr, George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Justin Timberlake are also in the running to play Frank.
