Disney has picked up The Jonas Brothers comedy series, J.O.N.A.S., for a second season.

Production for season 2 of J.O.N.A.S. starts in February and will premiere mid-2010.  Reportedly, the series will follow Kevin, Joe and Nick as they embark on a summer vacation in Los Angeles which results in major show business gigs.

Disney Channel’s Worldwide Entertainment President, Gary Marsh, released a statement, saying:

“These guys are the superstars of their generation.  We had the opportunity to extend out relationship with them, which we did.”
