MTV's Rob Dyrdek Presents Cult Film 'Street Dreams'

90210's Adam Gregory came to support good friend Sal Masekela from E! at the Newport Beach Film Festival on April 25th where his film production company with Jason Bergh, Berkela Motion Pictures, presented the film Street Dreams--the first ever skateboarding feature film made by skateboarders AND first film to sell-out at the Newport Beach Film Festival. Not bad for a bunch of punk kids, huh?

Professional skateboarder, Rob Dyrdek, has written, produced, starred, and financed this cult film, Street Dreams, about an up-and-coming skateboarder and his dreams. Though he's hella talented, some major roadblocks stand in the way of his dream of becoming a sponsored athlete. The story follows real skateboarders and shows mainstream audiences the reality of the street skateboarding community. Alongside Dyrdek, the film stars pro skateboarders Paul Rodriguez, Terry Kennedy, and the totally hot (but barely legal) Ryan Sheckler.

The film's official LA premiere is on June 8, 2009, and will be released in select theaters on June 12th. Check out more at www.streetdreamsmovie.com.
