Team Taylor all the way! He has been working so hard for this role! He’s gainned 19 lbs in muscle and been analyzing the book’s every sentence in preparation for New Moon! He deserves it completely! Plus, he is so sweet and nice to all the fans! TAYLOR ALL THE WAY!

Michael will be a great Jacob. Anyone whos read the books know Jacob becomes a whole different person in New Moon and I don’t see how Taylor can fit the role of Jacob. Michael fits the part of Jacob better than Taylor. Come on fans of the saga yall should know this.

No Books, you’re off the mark a bit. Jacob remains the same person entirely, but he changes physically. Bella developed feelings for him based on who he was, how supportive he was of her, etc, not his appearance. Its the personality of the character being portrayed as truly as possible that matters–screw his appearance–if you look at the rest of the cast (as Ashley Greene herself has pointed out) none of them are physically identical to their characters. Jacob/Taylor should be no exception. Taylor should keep the part since he IS truest to the personality of Jacob & if appearance alteration is needed, it should come down to “movie magic”. That is the point of movie magic afterall, to take the actors best suited for the role & make them look more the part.
Copon can’t act his way out of his closet, he STILL hasn’t familiarized himself w/the character & he has the personality of a rusted golf club. Taylor has worked his ass off for the role (gained 19 lbs in a month!), he deserves it.

That picture of Taylor was when he was like 15. He’s almost 17 now and he’s much taller and buffer. TEAM TAYLOR all the way! He deserves the part of Jacob Black and he’s the pest for it.
