Review: Transformers!

All the hype for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has definitely not been over-rated. This movie is equal, if not better than the first, which is almost rare for sequels!! Shia LaBeouf's character, Sam Witwicky, returns as the center of an extraterrestrial robot war between the autobots and decepticons. His leading lady, Mikeala Banes played by FHM's sexiest woman Megan Fox, helps her boy toy save the world once again. 

So I'll try not to give away too many details...The movie has the same concept as the first: several important artifacts, a love story, comedy, explosions, and a lot of fighting robots. What separates this movie from the first is the improvement in dialogue. Not going to lie, the dialogue in the first movie made me laugh harder than some of the jokes. At least in the second, we have some more substance other than, "Let's go!". Interestingly enough, the story of robot aliens continues to be fascinating because their past on Earth and other planets is revealed through the plot. 

Last week, Michael Bay announced that he's had enough of the "Transformers world." Although I can't be the judge of his personal opinion, this movie truly had some of the best and convincing special effects I've seen. I couldn't imagine another director doing a better job. 

So is there going to be a third? Rumor has it that a third movie is in the mix...but nothing has been officially announced. The ending isn't exactly a cliff hanger, but leaves only one line for the possibility for a third movie. 

Overall, the movie is awesome and definitely worth the 12 bucks to see it!
