Shutter Island Trailer
Here is the trailer for Martin Scorsese's newest film Shutter Island starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Michelle Williams, Mark Ruffalo, and Ben Kingsley.
Shutter Island, based on the book by Dennis Lehane, is a thriller set in 1954, about U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels (DiCaprio) investigation of the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to be hiding on the remote Shutter Island. Not long after his arrival on the island, Teddy begins to wonder whether he hasn't been brought there as part of a twisted plot by hospital doctors whose radical treatments range from unethical to illegal to downright sinister. As a hurricane cuts off communication with the mainland, more dangerous criminals "escape" in the confusion, and the puzzling, improbable clues multiply, Teddy begins to doubt everything - his memory, his partner, even his own sanity.
It looks like a really good movie. I'm very surprised that it is a Scorsese film and that Leo is part of it. I hope that means that movie is better than the trailer makes it look.
