Twilight Director Confirms Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Romance

Posted on November 12, 2009 - 12:25pm by Katie As if the pictures of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson holding hands weren't enough evidence, Catherine Hardwicke, the director of the first Twilight movie, is basically confirming the romance!



In a recent interview, Hardwicke claims that she specifically told Rob not to date Kristen when he was first cast as Edward Cullen, as she was under 18 at the time.  She said:

"I didn't have a camera in the hotel room. I cannot say.  But in terms of what Kristen told me directly, it didn't happen on the first movie. Nothing crossed the line while on the first film.”

However, Kristen IS over 18 now... and it was only a matter of time before the actors got together.  In matters of the rumored romance NOW, Hardwicke added:

“I think it took a long time for Kristen to realize, O.K., I've got to give this a go and really try to be with this person."

And there you have it. ROBSTEN is officially on.
