Twilight: Eclipse Movie Will Be in 'IMAX'!
Twihards get ready! Eclipse, the third installment of the Twilight franchise will be shot in IMAX format! Now you can swoon over Edward and Jacob on a larger then life screen!
This will be the first movie in the Twilight saga to be shot in the IMAX format. Another first, Eclipse IMAX will be released the same day as the regular sized screen version. The IMAX Experience will take Twilight fans right into the movie, with a super sized screen and enhanced sound. If you have never seen an IMAX film, now is the time!
IMAX is shot on a special camera, I hear they can be valued at over 1.2 million dollars! Designed to make the movie going experience more enhanced, by having the capacity to film in a larger size and resolution. Standard IMAX screens are 72 feet by 53 feet, far larger then the typical movie theater screen. Think of it as HD on steroids.
Eclipse has a tentative release date of June 30th 2010. Will you go see the IMAX Experience?
