What Do Beyonce & Michael Cera Have in Common?

According to Variety, Warner Bros. and Atlas Entertainment have started working on the script for a movie version of the hit TV series, Gilligan's Island.

The movie is in its early stages of development, so no one has officially been cast in the 1960's remake.  Sherwood Schwartz, the series creator and producer of the TV show is working with his son, Lloyd Schwartz, on the movie and said in an interview that he is interested in seeing Michael Cera with the lead role as Gilligan.

The script, release date and cast have been kept under wraps, but Beyonce has been rumored to be in the running to play the movie star, Ginger.




Hmm... Beyonce as Ginger? Michael Cera as Gilligan??

Yeah. I could definitely see that.
