I know your all tired of hearing about Kanye’s VMA outburst, but Beyonce has finally commented on the situation and I thought you would all like to know what she had to stay.
Beyonce told O magazine,
Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he’s like, ‘You have this award.’ And when they didn’t call my name he was, like, completely shocked. And when he walked on the stage, I was like, ‘No, no, no!’ and then he spoke, and I was like, ‘Oh, no, no, no!’
As we all recall, Beyonce handled the whole situation with class and consideration, when she turned the mic over to Taylor later in the evening.

It’s interesting that she thinks her work falls into the category of ‘art’.. but Swift’s doesn’t. Let’s be honest.. neither video was exactly original.. so you can’t give either of them credit for creativity. Not that they generally come up with their own video concepts anyway. But that being said.. art is subjective.. so who is to define one as art and the other as something else? Again.. Kanye? Mister I’m-such-an-artist-I-have-to-use-Auto-Tune?
