Brandy's Career Comes to a Halt
It's a bad time to be Brandy...
Brandy's on the market for a new record deal. She parted with her management and her record label Epic Records dropped her around the same time!
The reason Epic left behind their R&B singer? Sales for her comeback CD, 'Human' were not up to par. Since its release on Dec. 8, 2008, the CD only sold 169,509 copies, according to SoundScan. But her friend Brandon Creed, A&R rep for Epic Records, is making sure Brandy's name is in the minds of other labels to sign as their new singer.
And the reason she left her management? Apparently she had "creative differences" with Jay-Z's Roc Nation.
