Britney Spears Might Join Madonna's 'Sticky & Sweet' Tour

Apparently Madonna feels that it will help resurrect Britney's career if she appears on the Sticky & Sweet Tour.  However, if Britney does perform it will only be on some of the dates not the entire tour.

According to The Sun,

They are recording a video together on Sunday that will provide the backdrop for part of Madonna's show.  And they are talking about Britney taking stage on a few of the dates too.  It's hoped that Madonna can help Britney get back to her old self.

Madonna and Britney last performed together at the 2003 MTV Music Awards when they shocked the world by sharing a passionate kiss during their performance.  If the rumors turn out to be true we can only hope that Britney is ready to perform this time.  If she performs like she did at the VMA's her career will be ruined forever.

Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour is scheduled to begin August 23rd.
