Richie Sambora arrested on DUI charges
Richie Sambora, the once-sexy Bon Jovi guitarist, who unfortunately looks like the epitome of unsexy in his mug shot, is the latest celebrity to be arrested for a DUI while driving along PCH--this arrest was in Laguna Beach, as opposed to Malibu, which seems to be the most popular location of most celebrity DUI arrests along the famed Pacific Coast Highway.
US weekly has reported that Richie was not alone in his car when pulled over by the police. One of the passengers was his 10-year old daughter, Ava.
Laguna Beach Sgt. Jason Kravetz said: "There were three females in the car, two of them were juveniles." So, now he's likely to be charged with Child Endangerment along with his DUI.
Back in 2007, Sambora went to rehab twice. Once was in Cirque Lodge, Utah, the same place Lindsay Lohan went for her rehab.
Not long after Sambora entered treatment last June, for the second time, he appeared on the Today show to talk about his problems with alcohol. "I was just drinking too much and I needed to get my life together," he said during the interview. "I'm still in therapy and stuff like that, but it's good. I'm great. I feel fine."
It's horrible enough to drive home drunk but it is just tragic to have other people in the car with you, especially your kids who have no other choice but to go home with you. He officially got my Loser of the Day award.
