Track List for Twilight's New Moon Released on MySpace Music
Hipster, vampire-saga lovers of the world unite – the highly anticipated track list for this fall’s mega-hit New Moon, the second installment of the Twilight series, was finally released this week exclusively on MySpace Music. Consisting of completely original music by such notables as Death Cab for Cutie, The Killers, Muse and OK Go, the soundtrack looks to be a teen-angsty hipster’s dream come true, and is sure to fly off the shelves and make iTunes records when released to throngs of loyal fans on October 20th (preorder is already available on Amazon). Following much speculation by Pitchfork and The New York Times, the Atlantic Records release of this handpicked selection by author Stephanie Meyer is only increasing anticipation for the film. New Moon is directed by Chris Weitz and stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Based on the novel, New Moon follows Bella Swan (Stewart) as she gets continuously closer to the alluring Jacob Black (Lautner) only after her vampire love Edward Cullen (Pattison) abruptly departs without an explanation. Loyalties and love are tested, as Bella must face a new world of werewolves, vampire hierarchies and old enemies in this gripping saga. The film will be released nationwide on November 20.
