We Are the World Remake to Debut at Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony

We have been hearing a lot of buzz around the remake of Michael Jackson's iconic 'We Are The World', and our chance to hear it will come during the opening ceremonies for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
So many stars did their part lending their voices in an impressive 81 person choir. The complete list of performers can be found here, but the leads and single lines will be sung by Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Natalie Cole, Kanye West, Gladys Knight, Miley Cyrus, Lil Wayne, and T Pain. There is also a smash solo vocal track by Pink. Justin Bieber, 15, sings the opening lines.
Also added to the new version, is a duet between Michael and Janet Jackson. Producer Quincey Jones took the original tracks recorded by Michael back in the '80s, and had Janet come in and harmonize. It is the bridge that Michael sings on the original version, with Janet coming in half way through. Sounds absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.
A three-minute version will be heard during the Olympics. Following that, a longer version will be available on iTunes.
A new website for the single has gone live at World25.org. There has already made a deal with YouTube for a channel so that donors can see their money at work in Haiti. Director Paul Haggis’ crew will be posting clips constantly of World25 putting the money to good use.
