Mayumi Heene, the mother of Falcon Heene, also known as “Balloon Boy,” has confessed to lying to authorities! She admitted that the release of the 20-foot “UFO” looking Mylar balloon on Oct. 15th was “intentional as a hoax,” according to the Fort Collins Coloradoan.
Heene also admitted to officers that they had planned the hoax for WEEKS and that the construction of the balloon was created specifically for the launch, according to the source.
She also says that both she and husband Richard had instructed their three boys – Bradford, Ryo and Falcon – to lie to authorities!
Great parenting!
No word yet on the fate of the family or if Richard plans to confess.

Ha! I hope they take all three kids away from them!! You don’t teach your kids to lie to authorities in hopes of financial gain. That’s just wrong! Take them away and slap a hefty fine on the parents. Lying on national television to boot. Now it makes sense why the kid threw up on national television. He KNEW what they were doing was wrong and was scared of the consequences! PARENTING FAIL: this shit.
