Britney happy dating a paparazzi photographer

I really don't understand this pairing at all. I mean aren't the paparazzi's suppost to be the enemy. Doesn't she realize that her new friend is completely using her for money and publicity. This is a very sick relationship.
Adnan Ghalib has reportedly been giving Finalpixx the exclusive on his and the singer's whereabouts.
Finalpixx has been posting online a series of blog entries with shots of the couple, billing the updates as the "first and only source" on the pair. The updates describe the nature of their relationship as well as what they've been doing, including where they're eating (such as Greek food at Taverna Tony in Malibu, California). The agency also notes that Ghalib has not spoken publicly about the relationship because it would "not be of benefit to her for him to do so." Finalpixx seems to have all the intimate details only Spears or Ghalib could provide: For instance, it is aware that their trip south of the border was a "last-minute" decision.
While confirming that Ghalib is married but separated from his wife, the photo agency describes the singer and her photographer friend as "happily dating," calling it a "healthy, normal relationship." Besides her father, Jamie, Ghalib was the only visitor Spears had at Cedars-Sinai hospital that she actually requested, the agency claims.
The agency also writes, "After being released from the hospital, Britney and Adnan spent the night and the following days together resting, eating, sleeping, shopping and talking about life and the love they have for their families." The agency calls this "much-needed quality time" so the couple could escape "from the constant pressure of being hounded by the media."
Ghalib himself is a member of the media and has contributed to that media coverage — including an interview he gave to "20/20." But Finalpixx insists that Ghalib was not paid for the interview and that it was before "anything had happened between Britney and Adnan." "The airing of the interview was just coincidental," Finalpixx claims.
Finalpixx denies rumors that the photographer is selling his story, either to his own outlet or on the open market. "Contrary to reports, Adnan is absolutely not shopping his story for $5 million dollars," the agency wrote. "Finalpixx has never tried to negotiate a $5 million dollar deal involving Adnan and Britney."
Should that change, however, Finalpixx says any story Ghalib would have would be a positive one: "Should he choose to speak about Britney, he only has positive things to say about her and the time they have spent together."
"God's honest truth, I think she's a great person," Ghalib said in the "20/20" interview. "I really do. She's young. ... She's never made the best choices in friends, even her relationships. It's unfortunate that she is the way she is because of the people she surrounds herself with. She's easily influenced, and that's where her bad choices come from."
Ghalib also addressed the role the media has been playing in Spears' life. Regarding the paparazzi, he said, "If we're not there, who's going to pump her gas? Just yesterday she asked me to escort her home. Maybe the only friends she's going to have that treat her with the respect she deserves are going to be the photographers that work her 24 hours a day. It's going to have to be us. I think we are her friends now. Until she tells us to go away."
