Helio Castroneves Pleads Not Guilty to Tax Evasion
Professional race car driver and DWTS champion, Helio Castroneves pleaded not guilty to tax evasion during an emotional arraignment on Friday, October 3rd. He was brought into the court room in handcuffs and shackles and cried numerous times during the hearing, in which his lawyer and sister, who are believed to be accomplices to the tax scheme, were 
also arraigned.Helio was released on $10 million bail, however he had his passport taken away and was told that he is not allowed to
travel outside the U.S.He is believed to have hidden $5.5 million in income from the IRS in offshore accounts from 1999 to 2004. Helio is facing up to 35 years in prison if he is convicted of all charges.
