Madonna Officially Says There Will Be No Divorce
Madonna has finally broken her silence about her alleged affair with Alex Rodriguez. In an exclusive statement to People magazine Madonna says,My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce. I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez. I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study.
Madonna may think that she had nothing to do with the state of A-Rod's marriage but according to Cynthia Rodriquez's lawyer, Earle Lilly, Madonna's relationship with Alex was "the straw that broke the camel's back."
And Celebrity News is reporting that A-Rod's former trainer claims that "'Alex, God bless him, is lost. 'He'll only listen to [her] music' while driving, and goes 'into a trance' if one of her videos comes on at the gym. 'He's more infatuated with the fact he's with an icon instead of realizing what's important, which is family and truth. Alex [is acting like] he wants a divorce.'"
That is kind of creepy. Madonna makes it seem like they are mere acquaintances and Alex sounds like a stalker. Maybe Madonna should consider getting a restraining order against him. What do you think?
