New York, New York-Yankees And The # 27

New York, New York is even further on top now that the city is celebrating the 27th World Series Title for their beloved baseball team-the Yankees. 



Last night, the New York Yankees beat the Philadelphia Phillies in the play offs and won the 2009 World Series. Derek Jeter, a Yankee and celeb fav (he's dated Mariah Carey, Jessica Alba, even Vanessa Minillo) was all smiles as he and his team mates checked out their championship trophy. 



New York City's mayor has scheduled a parade through Manhattan Friday to honor the Yankees. "I wanna wake up in that city that doesn't sleep" and celebrate in the Big Apple too. Don't you?
