Yes, Valentine's Day is just a few days away, but who wants to read about another disgustingly perfect and loving celebrity couple? Boring. Instead, let's revisit the break ups that made headlines. And to make things even more interesting, let's look at that relationships that not only crashed and burned, but-- here's the real stinger--were ended via text message. Yes, this amazing technological tool that has made it easy for socially awkward duds to booty call like confident studs and couples to flirt during work hours is also responsible for the coldest breaks in Hollywood.

No ifs, ands, or buts, this move is just plain stupid and cowardly.

5) XOXO Gossip Girl: Chace Crawford kicks Carrie Underwood to the corner before he cheats... via text.
