Vanessa Hudgens talks about her nude picture scandal

In the new issue of Seventeen magazine, High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens opens up about her nude picture scandal. In her interview with the magazine she revealed, "It was very traumatic, and I am extremely upset it happened. I hope all my fans can learn from my mistake and make smart decisions."

Her manager was the person who gave her the news about the leaked nude photos:
"We heard some story was going to break in the tabloids, and I was like, 'What?!?' A few days later, the picture came out while I was on vacation in Australia. Thank God, I wasn’t home — it would have sucked. It’s very unfortunate because with the Internet these days, you don’t have a personal life. Nothing is private: Everyone knows everything, and they can find out everything about you... you have to be aware of the people you’re around."

When she broke the news to her mom, she said:
"I was just open with her, and she was just so cute. She was like, 'Well, everyone can be naked if they want to.' [Laughs] My parents are very supportive of me. And they know I’m a teenager, and yes, kids do stupid things sometimes."

Vanessa feels lucky to have the support from her boyfriend Zac Efron:
"He always makes me happy. He literally knows exactly what to do to make me laugh."

When asked if they're ready to walk down the aisle, she said:
"No. It’s fun having a boyfriend. But only time will tell. I’m still young, and I have my girlfriends and I have my family. I think that it’s definitely important to have balance."

No one has anything to say? Well, I've got something. How many words can I put on a post? Sometimes you only get so many characters. Well, just in case, I'll break it up into a few posts. First, let me post this and then, I'll start with what I'm going to say.

Now...regarding Vanessa Hudgens and the photo "scandal" (not the quotes). I've seen the nude photo and there's really nothing wrong with it. I don't know why people make a big deal out of it. So what she's nude. Since when is an innocent nude photo something to be embarrassed, ashamed, and then, think it's dirty, obscene, or pornographic?

If America would stop being so prudish and start acting like those countries in Europe, there would be no widespread news of Vanessa's photos. After all, naturism (or nudism) is natural non-sexual nudity where people do regular things. They play games. They do chores. They do everything us textiles (term given by nudists refers to people against nudism or wears clothes all the time) do, except they do them nude.

And besides, clothes are only meant to keep you warm and to shelter you from the elements, nothing else. Now, in the winter, I agree that you need clothes to keep warm. But, what about those hot, humid days of summer? How many times have we complained about our clothes sticking to our skin when we're outside on such a day? Or, when we go to the beach, how many of us have complained of having sand in our swimsuits? I know I have had that problem. It seems every time I go to the beach, I always wind up with sand in my swimming trunks.

Now...maybe we wouldn't have this problem if we were all nude. Sure, we can use the outside showers to rinse off the sand, but when you're wearing swimwear or trunks, the sand doesn't come out of there, only what's on the skin. Hmmm...if we were all nude, then wouldn't all the sand be rinsed off? So, good job Vanessa for taking the photos because for once, we've got a potential nudist. And, good props for her family's support, especially her mother's comment about how everyone can be naked if they want. I couldn't agree more. Okay, I'm done for now.
