A Sad Day for David Carradine Fans.....Suicide Investigation Underway

David Carradine, the 72-year-old star of the Kung Fu TV Series was found dead in his hotel room this morning in Bangkok.  Carradine was in Thailand filming a new movie.  He was supposed to have dinner with the cast and crew last night but never showed. They all assumed he was just sleeping.

Carradine's body was found around 11:30 this morning by a maid at the Park Nai Lert Hotel; he was hanging in his closet half naked.

The US Embassy says that it is a possible suicide and is under investigation still.  After searching his room there appeared to be no signs of a struggle.  He apparently hung himself from a cord from the hotel room's curtains.  One report by the BBC states that the rope was around his neck and “other parts of his body.”

Carradine's agent insists that he “was full of life, always wanting to work… a great person.”

Carradine played Kwai Chang Caine on the cult classic TV series Kung Fu. He recently appeared in Crank:High Voltage and his zen-like style can also be seen in the famous Kill Bill movie series.

One fan, Mike Wilhite, is quoted as saying Carradine's acting style was tranquil, like that of the East, and was always enchanting to watch.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones.  He will sadly be missed.
