An Interview with Sorority Forever Pledge Naomi
Tell us a little about the plot line of Sorority Forever?
Sorority Forever follows a group of freshman girls as they pledge the hottest sorority on campus. Only they don't realize that the hottest sorority on campus also holds the dirtiest secret.
Who is the character you play?
I play Naomi, she is one of the freshman pledges of Phi Chi Kappa. She's fun, frisky, energetic, and very computer savvy. She thinks that everything she does needs to be documented in photographs, videos, and vlogs and she tries to get everyone included in on the web fun.
How did you land this role? Were you approached or did you submit for an audition?
I was sent on an audition and got a call back, I was really excited, but then I didn't actually get the call that I had gotten the role for three months! Later, I found out that they had auditioned nearly 1500 girls for the roles and then had to send tapes to The WB to be approved, I guess that took some time.
What was it like working with the cast? Did all the girls get along in real life?
The cast was amazing, we all had such a good time together! I know it sounds cheesy, but we really felt like sisters by the end of the shoot. Everyone got a long and we all still hang out now, in LA.
What was your favorite memory of filming?
Well, I wouldn't call it a favorite, but it was a creepy memory. The house we used for the Phi Chi Kappa house was haunted, or so we were told. It was a story of someone who had murdered people with axes and in the basement was a piece of wood with two axes in it. The ghostly story was that the murderer would move the axes to different places on the wood. Of course, every time we would go to the basement they were moved! I'm pretty sure it was the directors messing with us, but we all still got really freaked out by it!
How has the response been so far?
The show has gotten a huge response since it's release on Sept. 8th. It already has quite a following and the only complaint is that it's too short, but to me, that's a compliment. It also helps that a big part of the show is interactive, being through the characters myspace pages, twitters, blogs and vlogs. With each new episode you can check out the characters myspace pages and they reflect what has just happened in the episode. The myspaces are also a great place to find the inside scoop, clues, and secrets that you don't see on the show.
Was there any drama on the set?
I can't think of one instance of drama between anyone on set. Everyone was very professional and not to mention easy going, and we probably laughed more than anything on a daily basis!
Where is Sorority Forever going from here?
I'm not even sure what's next for SF! You'll just have to watch, wait, and see
