Did David Carradine Die From Sex Act?

Investigation of David Carradine's death is still taking place. But police are claiming at this point that they think Carradine's death was more of an accident than a suicide, like originally thought. It is an unfortunate case of autoerotic asphyxiation gone too far.

Autoerotic asphyxiation is a practice whereby a person intentionally cuts off oxygen to the brain for the purpose of sexual arousal.

Carradine was found by a maid from the Bangkok Swissotel's Nai Lert Park hotel yesterday morning and she claimed she found his half-naked body in closet with rope around his neck and genitals.

"The two ropes were tied together," Police Lt. Gen. Worapong Chewprecha told reporters. "It is unclear whether he committed suicide or not, or he died of suffocation or heart failure."

A coroner completed the autopsy this morning but no results have been released until at least three weeks.
