World's Heaviest Man Marries in Mexico While Still In Bed

Manuel Uribe, 43-year-old former mechanic, who has not left his bed in six years, married his longtime girlfriend of four years Claudia Solis this past Sunday in northern Mexico.
The groom arrived at his wedding (in a bed) wearing a white silk shirt and a sheet wrapped around his legs. The bride wore a strapless ivory dress, a tiara and hot-pink lipstick as she walked down the flight of stairs.
The reception featured a banquet with meat, buttered vegetables, and a five-tier wedding cake for dessert.
Yum!

The couple held hands and swayed to a popular local norteno band that played in the background.
Uribe shed tears as the couple were declared husband and wife in a civil ceremony with more than 400 guests in attendance.
The wedding, which was closed to most media, will be featured in an upcoming Discovery Channel documentary on Uribe. Some media did, however, get shots of the groom coming down the street in a flatbed truck that was towing his custom-made bed decorated with a canopy, flowers and gold-trimmed bows to the wedding. Classy! Two police patrol cars escorted him ahead of a long line of looky-loos.
Uribe told the media that followed him on his way to the alter, "I have a wife and will form a new family and live a happy life."

I hate to be mean but... I will! How can he have a family? Wouldn't your 'you know whats' get lost in all that flesh? That equipment is kind of essential to the whole having babies thing. I can't imagine his heart would even be able to work that hard to get the blood flowing to the right area. His new bride has quite a task ahead of her!

See, quite a task...
Uribe was a record breaking 1,230 pounds in 2006, earning him the Guinness Book of World Records' title for the world's heaviest man.
He has since shaved about 550 pounds with the help of Solis. He now wants to hold the title for world's largest weight loser.

Good luck to ya!
