Marilyn Chambers Found Dead at 56

Posted on April 15, 2009 - 10:01am by kristin Arguably the first "porn star", Marilyn Chambers was found dead at the age of 56 by her own daughter.  So sad! There is no immediate cause for death, pending an autopsy.  She was so young.  I feel the loss, as I have a copy of 'Behind the Green Door' starring Ms. Chambers filmed in 1972.

Marilyn was a household face before her rear end was, being the model on 'Ivory Snow' a detergent for baby clothes.  After she did the 'Ivory Snow' campaign, she met the Mitchell brothers and the rest is adult film history.

I remember when I bought the DVD years ago, I thought it was ahead of its time.  There were some blocking issues, but all in all a good porno.  Might I be so bold as to suggest to everyone that they go out and purchase a copy of the classic 'Behind the Green Door' in memory of the fresh faced girl that broke out into the porn world and put some class into it!
