According to ChristianActivities.com, gospel music group MercyMe was in a deadly car accident.
Police in Fort Wayne, Indiana say that MercyMe’s tour bus was traveling through a green light when the car turned abruptly into the path of the tour bus.
Two passengers in the black car were killed and the pregnant driver is in critical condition. No one on MercyMe’s tour bus was injured.
A few hours after the accident, Bart Millard posted a Twitter update saying, “Can’t sleep. Officers went to notify families of their loss. My heart aches. Girl driving is 35 weeks pregnant. Both are stable.”
