Michael Douglas' Son Busted for Meth

0803_cameron_douglas_mug_exTMZ is reporting that Michael Douglas' son -- actor Cameron Douglas -- has been arrested in New York City for possession of methamphetamines with the intent to distribute.

It's not the first time Cameron has been busted for drugs. Back in 2007 he was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance after cops found a syringe with liquid cocaine in a car he was in.

The mugshot in this article is from his 2007 arrest.

We're told the 30-year-old actor was taken into custody by federal authorities yesterday.

He remains in custody.

Meth is such a horrible drug, we wish him the best and hope that he seeks treatment for this addiction.

    its a damn shame... Maybe it is time hollywood stepped up to the plate and made some " hollywood meth project commercials like "Montana Meth Project"

    Actor? 3 bit parts since '97 is not a career. He's a drug addict and if he was going to distribute meth he needs to spend a long time in prison. Meth=death.

    The money daddy spent supporting him should have come with conditions of being sober, not stay away money. It funny Kirk Douglas paid stay away money to Michael Douglas' brother Peter, who died of an OD, and Michael pays stay away money to keep him away from his new family. Addict patterns are so interesting.

    I think a 30 year old should pay for his crimes, he's not a kid, just an ordinary dope dealer who is going to diminish more people. Good riddance.
