The Smiths former lead singer, Steven Morrissey, was taken to the ER on Saturday, October 24th for breathing difficulties after he collapsed on stage.
The singer collapsed during a performance in Swindon, England and had to be carried off stage by two crew members. 25 minutes after the collapse the audience was told that Morrissey left the concert to receive treatment and “Everybody started booing, thinking ‘here we go again.’ He has a bit of a poor track record for cancelling his concerts,” said concertgoer Mark Taylor.
On Sunday a spokesperson for the hospital announced that Morrissey is in stable condition.
