More secrets and news keep coming out over Rihanna and Chris Brown.

Apparently Sunday was not the first time Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna.

US Weekly claims that evidence of abuse started showing up on Rihanna as far back as December.

Brown — who is currently being investigated by Los Angeles county prosecutors after Rihanna allegedly accused him of assaulting her the night before the Grammys — always had a “volatile” relationship with the singer, an insider tells Us.
A Rihanna confidant adds that bruises were clearly visible on the singer’s neck in early December.
Alarmed, “I asked is everything was OK with her and Chris,” says the pal. “She told me, ‘We broke up again.’ I didn’t pursue the issue further.”

Meanwhile rapper T.I. and Terrance Howard have both retracted their statements supporting Chris Brown.

Both claim that if they would have known what Chris was being charged for they would never have backed him up giving excuses for his actions. According to E! News:

When asked by paparazzi last night if he had any comment on the Chris Brown incident with Rihanna, the actor said, “It’s just life, man. Chris is a great guy. He’ll be all right. And Rihanna knows he loves her. She’ll be all right. Just everybody’s got to get out of their way.” But now, Howard is insisting he didn’t know about the allegations made against Brown when he made his remarks.
“When they asked me about Chris Brown the other day, I was in no way aware of what he had been accused of,” Howard said in a statement. “Had I known, I would have never had said something so insensitive.”
Howard is the second high-profile celeb in as many days to retract remarks they made about Brown and Rihanna.

Rapper T.I. issued a statement yesterday regretting comments he made the night before on Last Call With Carson Daly. T.I. said he “made a mistake of commenting before understanding the situation.”

E! News also reveals that Chris Brown is hiding out in Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino while waiting for the district attorney’s

office to file charges.

More info about what really happened Saturday night/ Sunday morning is starting to emerge:

The fight between the couple started when Chris Brown received a text-messaged booty call Saturday night.

“He got a booty call. He got a text. Rihanna saw it and she got upset. They started to argue. She got out of the car. He wanted her to get back in, so he grabbed her,” the industry source said. “She pulled away. That’s when she’s told people he hit her.”

Rihanna then grabbed the car keys and tossed them out the window, sending Brown into a rage.

He went out to try to find the keys, then came back to the car, and put his hands around her neck and, according to the insider, said, “I’m going to kill you!”

Rihanna then told police that she lost consciousness and when she awoke, Brown had fled, probably after thinking that he had killed her.

According to the source, her right eye was blackened and badly swollen and she had hand prints on her arms.  There are also reports she had bite marks on her arms and fingers. The officers then drove Rihanna to the hospital in their squad car instead of waiting for an ambulance.

A music business source says:

“Chris has been trying to contact her. So far she hasn’t taken his call. “Her family is on their way to be with her. She has some close girlfriend looking after her.”

This whole situation is a huge nightmare. Chris Brown has literally destroyed his rising career. Dating the princess of R&B was definitely the best career move he could have made. Rihanna has a pretty extensive, powerful possy, like Hip-Hop/ R&B mogals Jay-Z and P. Diddy. When Chris tried to kill Rihanna, he threw his life down the toilet. I mean Jay-Z was recently quoted saying “Chris is a walking dead man.  He messed with the wrong crew.”
