If you’ve looked at Priscilla Presley’s face lately, it’s likely that you agree with me, that there is definitely something not right with it. Because she decided to put herself back in the public eye, by becoming a contestant on Dancing With The Stars, much scrutiny has surface over her plastic surgery nightmare of a face.
In 2003, TMZ was the first to report that Presley was one of the high profile-victims of an Argentine plastic surgeon who conned women of a certain age into getting injections of a low-grade silicone which is better suited for an auto assembly line than laugh and frown lines.
“Priscilla Presley was one of many documented victims of Dr. Serrano,” publicist Sam Mast said in a statement released Tuesday. “An investigation which uncovered his misconduct ultimately led to his imprisonment. Ms. Presley dealt with this matter years ago and everything is well.”
Lionel Richie’s now ex-wife, Diane, and Larry King’s current missus, Shawn, have also been named as former patients of Serrano’s.
Federal agents arrested the doc, who reportedly wasn’t licensed to practice medicine in the U.S., in 2004 and charged him with importing and distributing a synthetic substance not yet FDA-approved.
Per the Los Angeles Times, he was sentenced to 18 months in prison in 2006 after pleading guilty to conspiracy, smuggling, and use of unapproved drugs. He was released last week, right into the media’s open arms.
Sources say that Presley is now in the process of undergoing corrective work.
