Jennifer Lopez And Marc Anthony Sue Stroller Company For $30 Million

Posted on 27 February 2009 by Tammy Cakes

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are suing Silver Cross stroller company for using a picture of them pushing their twins in their stroller in an ad.

On account of the abuse, consisting β€œin various print and electronic media and newsletters,” brought to their “reputations and world-wide celebrity and recognition,” the pair claims $30 millions in damages, plus a certain percent of the fees and profits associated with the sale of the baby buggy.

According to the lawsuit obtained by Access Hollywood, Jennifer and Marc have listed eight complaints, including violation of civil code, misappropriation of the Common law right of publicity, false designation of origin, dilution of Common law trademark, copyright infringement, unjust enrichment, accounting, preliminary and permanent injunction.

Fortunately for Silver Cross, even the bad publicity will probably help them sell more of their strollers.
