  Finding the perfect young starlet to fill those Manolo Blahnik heels that belong to Carrie Bradshaw is no easy task. So when it came time to cast the lead role in the Sex and the City prequel The Carrie Diaries, every big name in young Hollywood was thrown on the table, such as Blake Lively, Emma Roberts, Elizabeth Olsen, etc.

  After casting AnnaSophia Robb for the coveted role and seeing this first photo of her in full Bradshaw 80’s attire, I’d say we have definitely found our girl!

  The Carrie Diaries, the upcoming CW prequel to Sex and the City has just announced its first official cast member! 14-year-old Stefania Owen will play Dorrit, Carrie Bradshaw's annoying younger sister.

  Owen most recently played Keri Russell's daughter Puddle in the short-lived FOX series Running Wilde.

  The CW has announced that they have given the green light for the much-buzzed about Sex and the City prequel, The Carrie Diaries. 

  I have to admit, I’m VERY excited about this news. As big of a SATC fan as I am, I’m already imagining junior versions of Carrie, Charlotte,Samantha and Miranda frolicking around Manhattan.
