  The CW has announced that they have given the green light for the much-buzzed about Sex and the City prequel, The Carrie Diaries. 

  I have to admit, I’m VERY excited about this news. As big of a SATC fan as I am, I’m already imagining junior versions of Carrie, Charlotte,Samantha and Miranda frolicking around Manhattan.

  But what young actress could possibly fill Sarah Jessica Parker's Manohlo Blahniks?? I've got a few ideas. Check out more deets on the pilot and my casting picks for the fancy foursome.

  Two of our favorite supernatural shows The Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle, are back this Thursday night on The CW!

  Both shows recevied People's Choice Awards noms, so clearly we’re not the only obsessed fans out there! We were left off with rather suspenseful finales so we’re super excited here at Hollywire about the return.

  The Hurricane Club in New York City brought out a handful of CW stars on Thursday night. 

  After announcing the network's new fall line-up, Rachel Bilson, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ian Somerhalder and several other celebrities went out to celebrate at the network's 2011 Upfront Party. 

  Bilson, who was also joined by her Hart of Dixie co-stars Jamie King and Scott Porter, looked adorable in a white Chanel Couture dress and Christian Louboutin heels.
