  It’s official! After constant speculation the past couple months, Lindsay Lohan will be stepping into the shoes of Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor for an upcoming biopic.

  The Lifetime movie, titled Liz & Dick, will show a more private look at Taylor relationship with actor and former husband Richard Burton.

  “I have always admired and had enormous respect for Elizabeth Taylor,” Lindsay said in a statement. “She was not only an incredible actress but an amazing woman as well.”

  The ongoing hot actress battle for the Elizabeth Taylor role has finally come to an end – sort of.

  Word is Megan Fox is NOT taking part in the biopic based on the fabulous legend.

  A source close to the Transformers star told Gossip Cop that she “isn’t involved” in the project. Of course, this settles all of the fuss that was going on about whether Fox or Lindsay Lohanwould be best suited for the role.
