  Chanel designer and creative director Karl Lagerfeld received some major backlash after the recent comments he made about Adele’s weight.

  Now, he’s eating his words and apologizing to the Grammy-nominated vocalist via the Metro.

  He spoke out to Metro on the hot topic and had nothing but kind words to for the Rolling in the Deep singer. “I’d like to say to Adele that I am your biggest admirer. Sometimes when you take a sentence out of the article, it changes the meaning of the thought,” Lagerfeld said.

  Gossip Girl stunner Blake Lively is certainly taking the world of fashion by storm. In July, the blonde bombshell was spotted sitting front row at the Chanel Hauté Couture show during Paris Hauté Couture Fashion Week as a guest of Karl Lagerfeld's.  In September, Lively attended the reopening of the Chanel store in New York's Soho area. 

  Today, it was announced that the 23-year-old actress will star in a brand new ad campaign for Chanel.
