Taylor Swift didn’t expect to go home with a handful of Grammys last night, but that’s just what she did.
Taylor told Hollywood Life,
This is THE dream come true. It’s like – I’ve never been presumptuous about dreams, but when you have crazy dreams like, ‘I wonder what it would be like to win a Grammy someday’ I never actually thought it might happen until I was walking up there tonight and winning one.
Taylor also talked about one of her favorite places, saying,
Nashville is my favorite place in the world. To see it recognized in such a beautiful way tonight at the Grammys just makes me so, so happy.
Taylor won 4 Grammys last night, including Album of the year.
Pink was recently asked who she felt should win at this year’s Grammys, and not surprisingly she said Lady Gaga should take home the award for Album of the Year.
Pink was quoted as saying:
“I think I’d have to go with Lady Gaga because she really, really just took over this year. She was everywhere. She’s fearless when it comes to fashion and videos and I think a lot of other people play it really safe. I think she’s been a total breath of fresh air. I love her videos. In some ways I think she’s the most interesting without seeming to try to hard since Madonna. I think I’m able to like her because I don’t see any of myself in her. And for awhile, I think, after Missundaztood came out, it was like, “Oh, everybody wants to be a rock star now.” But with her, I don’t know, I think she’s marching to the beat of her own drum. And I really, really like that.”
Do you think Lady Gaga will win? Who do YOU think will take home Album of the Year?
The 2009 Country Music Awards were last night and Taylor Swift pretty much won every award there was to win for the night!
She won every award she was nominated for, including: Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Best Music Video for “Love Story.”
