The second season of Glee won’t be back on TV until April 13, but creator, Ryan Murphy gave us a heads up on some changes taking place.
Ryan Murphy announced that Chris Colfer’s character, Kurt Hummel, is getting an “out and proud” boyfriend.
They are holding open auditions for a “male Mercedes” for Kurt, a “sort of Eve Harrington [from All About Eve] to kind of steal Rachel’s [played by Lea Michele] thunder a little, and an R&B singing teen,” who is a possible love interest for Mercedes.
This is so impressive. If any of you had any question of whether or not the actors on Glee could really sing, here’s your proof!
The entire cast of Glee was on hand at game 3 of the World Series in Philly to sing the National Anthem, and they did an AMAZING job. Seriously, it brought tears to my eyes. Makes me love the show even more.
Next week’s episode of Glee is full of fantastic performances, including Mercedes covering Jill Scott’s ‘Hate On Me’ and a Rachel/Finn version of Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown’s ‘No Air.’
But the most dramatic scene is the climatic glee club moment when they sing Avril Lavigne’s ‘Keep Holding On.”
Hulu has leaked a new performance number from Fox’s new TV show, ‘Glee’, which starts it’s new season September 9. Watch below as Mercedes (the fabulous Amber Riley) covers Jazmine Sullivan’s “Bust Your Windows.” I also put up Jazmine’s version of ‘Bust Your Windows’. Who do you think sings the song better?
