Angelina Jolie and her newborn twins have been released from the hospital.

Hospital spokesperson, Nadine Bauer told People magazine that,

Angelina Jolie left the Clinic Santa Maria of Fondation Lenval early in the morning of July 19th.  The mother and babies are doing very well.

Despite numerous reporters and photographers camped outside, the Jolie-Pitts were able to leave the hospital unnoticed around 4:00am Saturday morning.  At 9:00am Dr. Michel Sussmann told the reporters, “You can go home now.  The story is over.”

The story may be over for reporters, but for the Jolie-Pitts its just the beginning.  Many people thought that Brad was just another fling for Angelina and now 3 years later they welcome Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt to their family.  Knox and Vivienne have now joined their 4 siblings- 6 year old Maddox Chivan, who’s birthday is coming up August 5th, 4 year old Pax Thien, 3 year old Zahara Marley, and 2 year old Shiloh Nouvel at their new home in Correns, France.

I hope they release their pictures soon…I can’t wait to see what the twins look like.  I am sure that they are just as beautiful as the rest of Brad and Angelina’s children.

Angelina Jolie has really given birth this time! I swear!! The happy couple welcomed a son and a daughter Saturday evening at the seaside La Fondation Lenval Hospital in Nice, the actress’ obstetrician tells E! News.

Twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline were delivered via cesarean section about 6 p.m. local time.

“Brad and Angelina are extremely happy and everything went perfectly,” Dr. Michel Sussmann the obstetrician who delivered the twins tells E! News. “Both of the babies are adorable and in excellent ?health and everyone’s content and getting some much deserved rest. [Brad, Angelina and the twins] are all tired but very, very happy.”

Knox was born first at 6:45 pm and 5.03 pounds, and Vivienne followed at 7pm and 5 pounds.

Brad stayed by Angie’s side during the operation, which took place earlier than expected (it was rumored that the C-section was going to take place this Tuesday). Sussmann told the Associated Press the procedure was pushed up “for medical reasons,” but declined to elaborate.

Jolie should be allowed to leave within a few days. Usually a four day recovery is standard after a C-section.

No word yet from the couple’s camp.

The actual arrival comes weeks after it was erroneously reported that Jolie and Pitt had welcomed twin girls, Isla Marcheline and Amélie Jane, named in honor of the A-listers’ own parents (Jolie’s late mother was named Marcheline; Pitt’s is Jane).

Earlier Saturday, reports surfaced indicating Jolie had given birth to twin girls, but a hospital spokeswoman said the stories had “wrong information.”

The newest additions are welcomed by the Jolie-Pitt brood including Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2, who have been under the care of Haven and an army of nannies.

They are the Brady Bunch for this generation!

A spokesperson for the Lenval Hospital in Nice has confirmed that Angelina Jolie has been admitted.

Spokesperson Nadine Baur said that the admittance had been planned for a while and that Angelina will stay at the hospital until the twins are born.

Baur stated, “There’s no urgency. It’s been planned for a long time. She’s very well. Everything is fine.”

It is safe to assume that the twins will be in France for a while before making their U.S. debut. Brad, Angelina and their four children just settled into their recently purchased home on the French Riveria.

The twins are sure to be a beautiful addition to the Jolie-Pitt family.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have donated $1 million to help the children affected by the war in Iraq.

The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict organization will handle the distribution of the donation, which was made through the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.  The money will be split among four organizations that work with U.S. children who have lost parents due to the war and Iraqi homes, school, and children affected by the war.

Angelina Jolie told Education Partnership for Children of Conflict that,

These educational support programs for children of conflict are the best way to help them heal.

Brad Pitt added, “We hope to encourage others to give to these great organizations.”

The Jolie-Pitts have always been generous with their money.  They have donated millions upon millions to charities to help the less fortunate.  They are truly a great people.

Entertainment Tonight aired a story about Angelina Jolie giving birth to her twins despite being repeatedly told that the report was based on false information told by someone impersonating Jolie’s assistant.

ET claimed Wednesday that it knew nothing about the impersonator before the broadcast. The identity of the impostor has remained unknown.

According to an ET executive the report of the twins birth started with ET producer Sharlette Hambrick, receiving a BlackBerry e-mail address that was supposedly  Jolie’s assistant, Holly Goline’s. An e-mail was sent to the address asking if the swirling reports that Jolie had her twins was true. An e-mail was returned to the producer saying “Yes she did. I was actually in the room with her. They are doing fine and so is mom.”

So on Friday morning, the show posted on it’s Website and sent out e-mail alert to media outlets saying it had confirmed the birth of Jolie’s twins. The Associated Press picked up the report and the rumor spread. Entertainment Tonight did not name its source at the time. It later revealed that the report was based on e-mails from someone it thought was Jolie assistant Holly Goline.

Shortly after the story was posted, Goline told Entertainment Tonight that she was not the one corresponding with the news network. The account was confirmed by someone else close to Jolie.

“Entertainment Tonight was told before the broadcast that their information came from an impostor,” said the second person. There were several conversations on Friday by e-mail, via text message, and by telephone between ET and Goline. Meanwhile the story was challenged by other celebrity news outlets.

The TV show stood by its story and Friday night, with host Mary Hart saying on the air, “Just this morning, a source who says she was inside the delivery room tells us yes, the babies were born and yes, mother and babies are fine.”

The show said in a statement Wednesday that they didn’t learn about the impostor  until a letter was given to them from Jolie’s attorney Monday- three days after the broadcast. They then also supposedly learned that Goline doesn’t have a BlackBerry address so she couldn’t have made the baby comment.

Hard to believe she has six four kids, right? Angelina turns 33 today, June 4th, to the envy of all women who wished they looked like that at 33 (in addition to drooling over her hot husband). She has it all.

In case you have been living holed up on the island with the folks from Lost, here are some facts on what Angelina has accomplished at 33 years old. (Besides locking down Brad. Have I mentioned him?)

- After beginning her acting career at age seven, she has received one Academy Award, three Golden Globe awards, and two Screen Actors Guild awards.

- Became a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, donating over 8 million to charity thus far and traveling to refugees camps in third world countries

- Adopted son, Maddox, from Cambodia, daughter Zahara from Ethopia, and son Pax from Vietnam. Gave birth to daughter Shiloh and currently pregnant with twins, with partner Brad Pitt.

So far, very impressed. Wonder what the years to come will bring? More children for one thing, a comment she has made recently, confirms.

Jolie’s films to come include Wanted, an adaption of a graphic novel by Mark Millar, Dreamworks’ animated Kung Fu Panda, and Clint Eastwood’s drama, Changeling.

The rumors about Angelina Jolie giving birth last weekend are false.

A rep for Jolie told People magazine that,

Angelina has not given birth. She is fine, enjoying her home and her family in France.

Angelina told reporters at the Cannes Film Festival that she was considering giving birth in France.  She said that France would be a wise idea because, “It is the second language in our house.”

Although we do not know her exact due date, she does look ready to pop deliver any day now.

On being pregnant with twins: I love it. It makes me feel like a woman. I t makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason. It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing. Also, I’m fortunate. I think some women have a different experience depending on their partner. I think that affects it. I happen to be with somebody who finds pregnancy very sexy. So that makes me feel very sexy.

On daughter Shiloh’s birth: We were in this little hospital in Africa when Shi was born. I don’t think there was anybody else in the hospital. It was just a little cottage, the three of us. It ended up being the greatest thing… I had a C-section and I found it fascinating. I didn’t find it a sacrifice and I didn’t find it a painful experience. I found it a fascinating miracle of what a body can do.

On nannies never sleeping over: We don’t ever have anybody spend the night. We may have to adjust that when the next one comes. But we do have ladies that work with us, and they’re also from different cultures and back-grounds. One lady’s a Vietnamese teacher - wonderful. One is of Congolese descent from Belgium. Another is from the States and is really creative and does art programs.

I love how she says that the nannies work with them not for them. How many parents in Hollywood have you heard say that? Not too many.
