Baby Mama, a comedy due to hit theaters April 25, brings two of SNL’s wildiest talents, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to the big screen. The women teamed up with writer/director Michael McCullers and producers Lorne Michaels and John Goldwyn to tell the story about Kate Holbrook (Tina Fey) , a successful, single business woman who has dreams of becoming a mother but sadly finds out that she is infertile and hires Angie Ostowiski(Amy Poehler), a working class woman to be her unlikely surrogate.Simple enough…Kate learns from the steely head (Sigourney Weaver) of their surrogacy center that Angie is pregnant. Kate immediately goes into prenatal nesting mode: reading childcare books, baby-proofing the apartment and researching top pre-schools. But everything turns upside down for Kate and her preparation time when her Baby Mama shows up at her front door needing a place to stay.In a comic battle of wills, Kate struggles to turn Angie into what she feels is the perfect expectant mother. In the middle of this tug-of-war, they’ll discover two kinds of families:the one you’re born to and the one you make.
