Robert Pattinson says he drew inspiration from Hollywood icon James Dean when bringing the role of Edward Cullen to life in the ‘Twilight‘ saga films.

In a recent interview, Pattinson said:
“Rebel Without a Cause was a big influence on the first film — it influenced the hairdo and stuff. In lots of ways, it has a very similar character arc: An everyday girl brings this relatively strange individual out of his slump.”
We can totally see the similarities in the characters!

Breaking Dawn has officially gotten the green light to be filmed.
The fourth movie of the popular vampire series is expected to start production next September and it’s target release date is sometime in 2011.
Breaking Dawn will be filmed in Portland, Oregon just as Twilight was. Sources say that the film may be split into two parts being that there is so much going on in the final book.
Author Stephanie Meyer has stated, “It would have to be made into multiple movies because it’s hard to imagine it fitting into ninety minutes.”
Stay tuned for more Breaking Dawn news!

‘Eclipse‘ actor Boo Boo Stewart who will play Seth Clearwater, the youngest of the wolf pack, reveals that their will be 5 Twilight movies. I know, YAY!
This means that either Stephenie Meyers last book ‘Breaking Dawn’ will be split into two movies or the more exciting Twilight fan option: that Stephenie is writing another Twilight novel that will be turned into a movie.
Which would you prefer? Which do you think will actually happen?

Twilight saga author, Stephenie Meyer is being accused of plagiarism. ‘Breaking Dawn,’ the fourth book of the series, is the only book in question. According to Jordan Scott, ‘Breaking Dawn’ is a rip-off of her book ‘ The Nocturne’. Scott has sent a cease and desent letter to stop furthur publication of the ‘Breaking Dawn.’
Scott claims that she started writing ‘The Nocturne’ in 2003 and published various chapters and passages and put them up on her site until the book was published in 2006. ‘Breaking Dawn’ was published in 2006.
Here are some of the similarties both books possess:
-Edward and Bella’s Wedding
- The post-wedding sex
- And the scene where Bella is turned into a vampire
Reps for Meyer call the claims BS.
“The claim that ‘Breaking Dawn’ by Stephenie Meyer somehow infringes on an alleged book by someone named Jordan Scott is completely without merit. Neither Stephanie Meyer nor her representatives had any knowledge of this writer or her supposed book prior to this claim.”
What do you think of this plagiarism rumor? I doubt that Stephenie would plagiarize after already having three hit books. Click here to read or skim through Jordan Scott’s ‘The Nocturne’ e-book to see if ‘Breaking Dawn’ is really plagiarized.
