Apparently Robin Williams has been asked to play Susan Boyle in her biopic.

“Williams has been asked to play singing sensation Susan Boyle in a movie about her life.  Film executives are planning a film about her rise to stardom after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent.

He says, “I’ve been asked if I want to play Susan in the movie.  I think she’s incredible.  That clip of her singing on Britain’s Got Talent was extraordinary.  So inspiring.  It was quite a shock when she began to sing.  I saw some other clip of her singing Cry Me A River a few years ago.  It was incredible.  She’s got a really great voice.”

It helps that Robin is already a big Susan Boyle fan, and has reportedly been practicing his impressions of her and singing “I Dreamed a Dream” to prepare for the role.”

It’s not a huge stretch for Williams to play a woman.  We have all witnessed the incredible job he did playing an old woman in Mrs. Doubtfire.  I think he would be perfect for the job.

A newly glamorized Susan Boyle stopped by The Today Show, this morning telling Meredith Vieira that she is “having a wonderful time” being so famous.

“You look gorgeous,” Vieira told Boyle, who now shares some feature similarities with Julia Child. Boyle sported a new ‘do, a purple dress, makeup and trimmed eyebrows. Boyle thanked her, remarking, “I brush up quite well.”

She talks to Meredith about her new found fame, her brief stay in a mental clinic and how she’s coping since becoming second runner-up on Britain’s Got Talent.

This is Susan’s first TV interview since Britain’s Got Talent.

Susan Boye may not have won Britain’s Got Talent or received a monetary prize long with performing for the Royal family but she did receive a pretty good consolation prize-performing for our royalty in the U.S.- the Obama’s.

Boyle has received an invitation from the Obama’s to perform for them on July 4th.

Susan’s brother, John Boyle, recently told the Daily Record, “Susan has been invited to the celebrations at the White House with the president. So as you can see, her dream is still very much alive. In fact, it’s only just starting.”

“Susan is exhausted, that’s all there is to it. It’s no surprise – she has gone from a small town in West Lothian to being famous around the world. She’s been battered non-stop for the last seven weeks and it has taken its toll. But she’ll be looking forward now to the Fourth of July.”

I agree with John. The woman needs some time off. You can’t push fame on a woman that age so quickly.

Believe it or not, Susan Boyle is not the winner of Britain’s Got Talent.

Even though the 47 year old YouTube sensation put on a stunning show Saturday, May 30th, which can be seen below, she was beaten out by a dance group named Diversity.  
 
But don’t feel too sad for Susan, she may still get her chance to sing for the Queen.  The winners of Britain’s Got Talent receive around $160,000 and a their name on the roster of the Royal Variety Performance, which performs for the Queen and the runner ups are usually included in this performance as well.
 
In addition to the performance for the Queen, Boyle is pretty much guaranteed a recording contract because of her talent and of course her popularity.  She was a winner with her first shocking performance.

Hollie Steel, the 10-year-old that shocked viewers with her incredible vocal skills at her audition for “Britain’s Got Talent,” was performing on the show in the semi-finals when she messed up, began to sob uncontrollably, and begged for a chance to start over again.  The video is pretty ridiculous…it’s like something right out of a movie.

Luckily Simon Cowell promises Hollie a chance to redo the performance, and she stops throwing a fit.  Check out the video below!

Lily Allen is at it again. There is always someone she’s not fond of, this time it is Britain’s Got Talent’s Susan Boyle.

Lily took to her Twitter account and wrote, “I thought her timing was off on Sunday – no control, and I don’t think she has an amazing voice.”

Lily went on to say that she thinks 12-year old contestant Shaheen Jarfagholi is more talented.

Lily wrote: “She can sing, but it’s not about talent with her, is it? She seems like a lovely lady but, if the show is about talent, then that Shaheen kid should win.”

Although I like Susan very much and think she sings amazing, I do agree with Lily Allen. I love Shaheen. He is something else and on a totally different level than Suasan. He gives me goosebumps from head to toe.

Susan Boyle, 47 year old shy singer from Scotland, was finally discovered and became a huge youtube sensation when she appeared on the hit show ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ a couple of week ago. With the song “I Dreamed a Dream” she has been viewed over 100 million times making her audition video the most watched video in Internet history.

Susan has graciously done interviews around the world, but it seems that all the media attention has finally gotten to her. Journalists and paparazzi stand outside her home waiting for an interview and pictures, and being as quite as she is, her new found fame is starting to bother her.

Boyle won’t return to perform for at least a few weeks. Wikipedia says that the final competition is on May 30, but we hope to hear Susan again before that. Maybe then her fans will give her peace.

Many people have said nasty things about her wardrobe decision and wanted to give her a make-over. Here are some pictures of hopefully only the start of Susan’s new transformation.

If you haven’t seen this video, you must watch it!  A woman named Susan Boyle was auditioning for “Britain’s Got Talent” and claimed that her dream was to be a famous singer.  Everyone laughs at her when she first walks out on stage because she’s middle-aged, not very attractive, and a little bit kooky.  However when she opens her mouth, the most beautiful melody you have ever heard comes out, and brings the judges, EVEN SIMON, to tears.
