Queen Latifah hasn’t even officially come out of the closet but there are already wedding bell rumors! Latifah has supposedly been dating her personal trainer Jeannette Jenkins for the last 5 years. And now, with the overturn of the ban on gay marriage in California they are going to be taking the walk down the aisle! According to the National Enquirer it will be a small ceremony with just a few family and friends and it will take place this summer.

Queen Latifah has never commented on her relationship with Jenkins, but it seems like they are way more than friends. Last year Latifah surprised Jenkins with a very elaborate gift - a Range Rover. Now, would you buy your personal trainer a Range Rover? No, I didn’t think so. Not only is Queen Latifah ready to get hitched but it has been reported that shes looking into adopting a child.

We’re barely 6 months into 2008 and it’s already turning out to be the year of celebrity engagements weddings wait no I mean babies. Well you get my point! It seems every week we hear about a “fairytale” wedding, or the birth of the latest celebrity spawn. All these engagements and weddings are making me think that I’ll be doing a list of the top 10 divorces of 2009. Ok, ok some of them might make it to 2010. So for those of you who aren’t keeping track of celebs’ fascinating lives, let’s review shall we?

Lets start with our favorite betrothed celebs. Which couple has the best chances and who’ll be headed for splitsville?

Fergie and Josh Duhamel: She’s a pop princess and he’s TV’s hottest hunk. These two love birds are in the planning stages for their wedding, but have already been bombarded with baby rumors. Only time will tell if those rumors are true, as well as if these two make it to the aisle!

Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker: Next to jump on the marriage bandwagon was tennis hunk Andy Roddick, who announced his engagement to swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker in March. The couple dated less than a year before Roddick popped the question. Something tells me this will turn out to be Andre Agassi and Brooke Shields part two.

Carmen Electra and Rob Patterson: Ms. Electra is giving marriage another shot. The couple was engaged on Carmen’s 36th birthday. Judging by her previous track record of short marriages to Dennis Rodman and Dave Navarro, I don’t think the third time is the charm in this case.

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds: These two are the latest to announce their impending nuptials. Scarlett showed off her ring at this years Costume Institute Gala in early May.

I say the couple with the best bet of making it is Fergie and Josh Duhamel.

Next up we have weddings:

A few stars have already tied the knot this year. There was Beyonce and Jay-z, who still think we’re crazy and want us to believe the wedding never happened. Then we have Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz, who just recently announced they are expecting their first child - can anyone say shotgun wedding? Two days after Ashlee and Pete, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren–also expecting their first child–tied the knot. And perhaps the most shocking wedding of the year belongs to Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. Something tells me they’re going to regret those matching tattoos by August.

This year it seems we’ve hit the celebrity baby motherload (pun intended). I can’t even begin to name all the kids that popped out this year. So I won’t, I’m just going to name the cute ones whose parents are famous enough.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren planned to have a secretive and private wedding, and they pulled it off flawlessly. Her wedding was so secretive that Jessica’s own brother wasn’t invited!

When USweekly broke the news to him Tuesday he said, “My sister!? I’m going to have to call her!”

When asked if Warren will make a good husband, Josh told Us, “Well, he’s my brother in law now!”

Do you think Josh has to be super pissed about not being invited to his sister’s wedding? I know I would be. And, to add insult to injury, a gossip magazine knew about the wedding before he did! I bet he wants to punch Cash in the face right about now, if he hasn’t already.

OMG! It’s happened again! Another celebrity couple gets married suddenly and secretly!

Jessica Alba, who topped our baby bump list, married Cash Warren on Monday in a quiet ceremony. The Fantastic Two announced their engagement around the same time as their pregnancy, and since the pair have been engaged for awhile, the marriage is not a complete surprise. In fact, Jessica has said before that she wanted to get married in a civil ceremony, followed by a small reception with family and friends. They certainly did a good job of keeping it quiet!

Congratulations to the happy couple! We can’t wait to see the baby!

Love is in the air, and it’s contagious! Actor Charlie Sheen is to marry real-estate investor Brooke Mueller on May 30th, according to InTouch Magazine. This will be Sheen’s third marriage and Mueller’s first.

Sheen is known for being on shows like “Two and a Half Men” and “Spin City”, or from being in movies like “Major League” or “Scary Movie 4″. He’s also known from his former wild days as a reported cocaine addict and as a “Legend of Sex” for supposedly sleeping with over 5,000 women (classy!); not to mention accidently shooting his former-fiancee Kelly Preston in the arm in 1990. And lately, he has been making headlines for his dramatic divorce with Denise Richards.

In a very messy battle, Richards took out a restraining order against her ex for alleged death threats, Sheen stated that she was creating a “smear campaign” against him; either way, it wasn’t pretty. But now, with a wedding at the end of a month, perhaps Charlie can start over. No more wild antics or messy custody battles; just him and his new bride making a new life together.

The couple have been engaged since 2007, so this wedding isn’t as sudden as some of the ones we have been seeing recently. But considering his history with ex-wives, perhaps it’s good that things haven’t been rushed.

Seriously, though, what’s with all of the celebrities suddenly seeking domestic bliss? We’ve had Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon suddenly get married, a newly engaged Scarlett Johannson and Ryan Reynolds–and let’s not forget that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are about to pop out some more gorgeous babies. Is it true that Mariah Carey was smart enough to get a prenup made in time for her shot gun wedding to Nick Cannon?

It looks like it. She must have some great lawyers!

And I bet that her accountants will stop holding their breath. Mimi’s money will be safe with her, even if this relationship doesn’t last.

According to insiders, Mariah told a friend “Anyone who thinks we didn’t have a prenup is smoking something!”

Extra is reporting that newlywed Mariah Carey cancelled her previously schedule appearance for this Monday with the ladies at The View.

No explanation was given for the abrupt departure.

Could it be she is too busy celebrating her nuptials with her new hubby?!

Looks like we’ll have to see!

I hope Barbara isn’t mad Mariah ditched her show!

The New York Post has also reported that Mimi and Nick have indeed gotten married. But all is not happily ever after…yet.  Unfortunately for her, the paper is also reporting that Carey didn’t make Cannon sign a prenuptial agreement. Supposedly the sources said “there wasn’t enough time.” In that case, I hope this ‘marriage’ lasts, or else Nick Cannon is going to be REALLY glad he eloped with her, if you catch my drift!

Hollywire just got reports from one of the guys in Nick’s entourage that they are all out in the Bahamas…. The same place where it’s being reported that a wedding between the two has already taken place… So, after speculating about that giant rock Mariah Carey was sporting at the Tribeca Film Festival was an engagement ring, it now seems as if Mariah and Nick have just recently taken it to that next level and gotten married at Carey’s new home in the Bahamas!!!!

This news seems to come at a pivotal time for Carey, during the week her pop chart rival, Madonna, has a new album in stores. Is this a marketing gimmick just to create publicity for Carey? I don’t know but props to Mariah for having great timing!

Word of the wedding comes from Latina.com, where an unnamed source confirms the couple swapped vows on Wednesday in a “very impulsive” small ceremony on an undisclosed island.

The event was reportedly attended by just a few close friends. One of which, was Da Brat, whose Vegas birthday party was one of the sites the newlywed couple was seen canoodling at.

So if this is all true, it would be a second marriage for Mimi (who was previously wed to Tommy Mottola) and a first for Nick (who was engaged to Selita Ebanks last year).

I think I will hold off in sending any wedding gifts until I hear an official confirmation from Carey or Cannon’s reps, because who knows how long this will last.

But congratulations to the newlyweds anyway— even if this is a publicity stunt!

Looks like another celebrity is hearing wedding bells!

This time it’s Alicia Keys who is reportedly getting married to her music producer boyfriend Kerry ‘Krucial’ Brothers. According to Star magazine, Alicia and Kerry have booked the Oheka Castle on Long Island for their wedding. Their private ceremony will take place over Independence Day weekend, with the exact date of the wedding being July 4th. People at the 32-bedroom French-style chateau have confirmed that a wedding will indeed take place that weekend. But they have refused to reveal the identity of the bride and groom. Let the speculation begin!

Both Keys and Brothers have been mum about their relationship to the public, but they’ve been writing songs together for years. They also own the production company KrucialKeys and New York’s Oven Recording Studios. Keys rep hasn’t confirmed or denied the wedding plans.

So we might just have to wait until July to see if she really ties the knot!

Or maybe if pregnancy rumors start flying she’ll ‘fess up!
