Hollywire recently attended the Ivy Bethune Tri-Union Diversity Awards which recognizes people in the entertainment industry who have contributed to a better representation of the racial and cultural diversity within our society, and we had the opportunity to talk exclusively with two of the hottest young stars on TV right now: Vik Sahay who plays the lovable Lester on Chuck, and Romi Dames who plays the high-pitched Tracie Van Horn on Hannah Montana!
Vik and Romi talked to us about their cultural backgrounds, what they’re working on currently, and most importantly, we talked about food!
Cops4Causes is a charity that is made up of all levels of law enforcement who come together to help those that are less fortunate. Their first event of the summer was a comedy show at the Laugh Factory featuring Tommy Davidson, John DiResta, Bret Ernst, Carlos Alazraqui, Johnny Sanchez, with special appearances by the new Miss California Tami Farrell and The Closer’s Robert Gossett.

With the custody case finally behind her, Britney Spears took time out Saturday night and surprisingly attended Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey’s fundraiser for Generation Rescue, an organization dedicated to researching autism.
“She looked great and seemed really happy,” says a partygoer. Though she kept close to her assistant Brett and didn’t speak to other guests ’she smiled and clapped during the video about autism. She was very into the information and watched a little bit of the dancers from Dancing with the Stars, sneaking out during one of the performances.’
The charity event was sponsored by Star Queen Vodka and was hosted at Jen and Jim’s house in Brentwood, CA. For entertainment, the Dancing With The Stars dancers performed a couple numbers and of course Jim Carrey had to get on stage to give the guests a good laugh.
Also at the bash were newlyweds Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller, as well as Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowen, who apparently were seen kissing and dancing all night.
American Idol taped its 2nd annual charity event Idol Gives Back last night at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. American Idol vowed that this years event would be bigger and more ambitious than ever and it will be. With appearances from Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, and Robin Williams and performances by Miley Cyrus, Celine Dion, Fergie, and Snoop Dogg. The Idol Gives Back charity event will benefit six different charities including: The Children’s Defense Fund, Children’s Health Fund, The Global Fund, Make It Right, Malaria No More, and Save The Children.
