Over a year later, Chris Brown is still feeling the fallout from assaulting Rihanna.

His latest album, Graffiti, has failed in comparison to his pre-altercation albums and some radio stations won’t even play his music at all.  So, Chris is turning to his fans to try and make a come back.

Brown released an audio message on Wednesday basically begging his fans to help “bring [him] back.”

Chris says,

Some radio stations aren’t playing my records.  They’re not being that supportive and I wouldn’t expect them to.  But it’s on the fans… It’s in your power to bring me back.

It won’t be possible for me to be an artist if I don’t have support from people who give me an artist outlet.  I can’t be an underground mixtape artist.

A judge recently praised Chris for keeping up with his community service and he refers to himself as a “better person,” but it hasn’t been enough to revitalize his career.

Rihanna has already forgiven him and wishes him the best, but only time will tell if the fans can do the same.

On November 18th, Chris Brown will read to children at the Sisulu-Walker Charter School in New York as part of an annual statewide event.

Dawn Cejas, the Principal at Sisulu-Walker, said,

I extended an invitation to all celebrities and politicians, and we had an acceptance by him.

Chris has already proved he is a changed man, he’s made a public apology, is completing his community service and has shown he can be a respectable young man.  However, do you think his image will ever completely recover?

I’m sure it will, today’s society is very forgiving of celebrity wrong doings.

Chris received a standing ovation after performing Crawl and With You.  The telethon aired on BET, MTV and VH1 last night and involved other top stars, including, Queen Latifah, Diddy, Robin Thicke, Justin Bieber, Wyclef Jean and Bill Clinton.  Check out the video below.

It seems that neither Rihanna nor Chris Brown are having much luck selling their ‘comeback’ albums!

To date, Chris Brown has only sold 258,184 copies of Graffiti.  Meanwhile, Rihanna isn’t doing much better.  She has only sold 571,733 copies of her album, Rated-R.

Selena started dating Miley Cyrus’s ex, Nick Jonas in the summer of 2008.  The relationship was kept fairly quiet, but it was definitely made well-known that the pair had broken up in the summer of 2009.  Good thing too, I think Miley would’ve eventually taken Selena DOWN.

8. Joe Jonas and Camilla Belle

Joe Jonas and Camilla Belle had been dating for almost a year (mostly on the downlow) when they suddenly broke up this July.  There were rumors that Camilla had been dating a spanish tennis player on the side, which is what might have caused the split.  The saddest thing about this breakup was that right after it happened, Joe Jonas was in concert and began to sing “Much Better,” which was a song he wrote about being in love with Camilla, when he started CRYING on stage.  Emo.

7. Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia

Hayden and Milo were another scandalous couple at the beginning of their relationship.  Hayden reportedly broke up with her boyfriend Stephen Coletti to date her Heroes co-star Milo, who was 29 while Hayden was only 17.  They dated for two years before breaking up in 2009.  Sad, I loved them.

6. Alex Rodriguez and Kate Hudson

Alex Rodriguez and Kate Hudson seemed like a weird coupling to begin with, but I thought maybe they had something in common.  I mean, they’re both serial daters right?  The pair were said to be in a serious relationship, but they just broke up a couple weeks ago for reasons that remain unknown.  I’m sure they’ll both be with new people before the new year.

5. Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli

Victoria Secret model Bar Refaeli and Leonardo DiCaprio had been dating three years before they broke up in the middle of 2009.  Apparently she has been taking the breakup pretty hard, while Leo has returned to his womanizing ways.

4. Kristen Stewart and Michael Angarano

While the rumors of Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson being a couple have been going on since the filming of the first Twilight film began, believe it or not Kristen was still dating her longtime boyfriend actor Michael Angarano up until June of 2009.  The second they broke up, Kristen was reportedly “together” with Rob.  Poor Michael.

3. Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston

It was a huge scandal when their relationship started.  Miley was just 15 and Justin was an ancient 20 years old, but they quickly became one of the cutest couples of the year.  However, eventually Miley began to have a “wandering eye” (specifically for her old flame Nick Jonas) and the couple broke up at the beginning of the summer.

They were the golden parents of TLC…that is, until Jon started cheating and Kate began divorce precedings.  Now they are officially divorced, ready to start the new year as single parents!

Chris Brown and Rihanna were one of the most loveable couples of 2008, and then they were the biggest news story of 2009 after Chris beat up Rihanna the night before the Grammys.

Not a day went by in 2009 that we didn’t hear about this breakup, so therefore I’m calling this the BIGGEST breakup of the year!

2009 was indeed a SCANDALOUS year for Hollywood!  From Miley Cyrus to Kanye West to Tiger Woods… there was hardly a ’scandal-free’ moment!   Check out Hollywire’s TOP 10 Biggest Scandals of the year!

10.  Taylor Swift parties at Katy Perry’s birthday and poses with a guy wearing a Nazi swastika… while she wears a painted on ‘JH’, which some believe stands for ‘Jew Hater’.

Known for her squeaky-clean image, fans were shocked to see the country cutie posing with someone who was wearing such an offensive t-shirt… not to mention her own ‘JH’ attire.  The world was also shocked to learn the photo was snapped at Katy Perry’s 25th birthday party!

9.  Adam Lambert smooches his male dancer at the American Music Awards.

Adam Lambert pushed the boundaries a little TOO far with his sex-crazed and scandalous performance at the AMA’s.  The singer dragged a woman across stage, made offensive gestures and smooched his male dancer!  Viewers couldn’t believe their eyes!

8.  American Idol replaces Paula Abdul with Ellen Degeneres.

Although many people weren’t sure Paula Abdul would get the money she asked for,  no one EVER expected she would be fired from Idol!  THEN… the world was shocked (yet PLEASED) to find Ellen Degeneres would be taking her place.

7.  Carrie Prejean makes pageant people (and Perez Hilton) very mad.

Carrie Prejean pissed off the gays when she said ‘marriage should be between a man and a woman’ at the Miss USA pageant.  Then, nude photos, sex tapes and other incriminating stories surfaced about the fallen beauty queen.  Eventually, Prejean lost her crown and is still defending herself.

6.  Miley Cyrus pole dances at the Teen Choice Awards!

Disney Queen, Miley Cyrus, has definitely slipped up a few times… but this time, she went a tad too far.  During her ‘Party in the USA’ performance at The Teen Choice Awards, Miley danced provocatively atop an ice cream chest and grinded on what appeared to the audience as a STRIPPER pole!

5.   Michael Jackson passes away.

Michael Jackson is perhaps the most famous performer of our time.  The world was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing in 2009, especially since his death occurred RIGHT before his ‘This Is It’ Tour.  His docs are in hot water now, as it was revealed Michael Jackson was being heavily medicated.

4.  Jon & Kate Gosselin battle it out.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 was a huge reality television phenomenon.  Their lives off television was just as big of an obsession.  Tabloid readers and entertainment enthusiasts everywhere watched the relationship between Jon & Kate go from bad to worse.  From Jon’s 22-year-old girlfriend to Kate’s heartfelt (and strategic) interviews, people couldn’t look away!

3.  Chris Brown Beats Rihanna.

Once a much-loved Hollywood couple, everything changed in the matter of one night.  Chris Brown severely beat his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, causing the duo to miss the Grammys.  Photos of her bruised and beaten face were released and the world was appalled and sickened by Brown’s behavior.

2.  Kanye West steals Taylor Swift’s ‘moment’ at the MTV Video Music Awards.

As Taylor Swift began accepting her ‘Best Female Video’ award at the 2009 VMA’s, she was RUDELY interrupted by Kanye West, who stole the mic out of her hand and claimed that BEYONCE deserved to win the award.  Taylor Swift and the rest of the world watched — completely and utterly shocked.  Beyonce did her best to rectify the mistake by giving Taylor Swift her ‘moment’ back later in the ceremony.

1.  Tiger Woods Cheats on Elin Nordegren with FOURTEEN mistresses!

People were SHOCKED to hear that Tiger Woods had cheated on Elin Nordegren with Rachel Uchitel.  Then, when THIRTEEN other women came forward claiming to have had affairs with the ‘perfect’ golfer, the world was SPEECHLESS.  The world is watching and waiting to see what will happen with him, his wife, Elin Nordegren and their two kids.

Here’s to hoping that 2010 is just as SCANDALOUS!

Despite losing tons of fans after beating girlfriend Rihanna last year, Chris Brown is trying to come back with a new album.

So far, Chris has made a few weak attempts at changing his abusive image, but this video below really makes you sympathize with him and his feeling of loss. I actually feel kind of bad for him…
