Fashionista twins, Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen, are launching a new fashion line called Olsenboye!  The new line, which will be sold exclusively at 600 JCPenny stores, is affordable and cheap!

The Olsen twins currently have two other higher-priced fashion lines — The Row & Elizabeth and James.

Beginning Nov. 6, Olsenboye will be available on jcp.com and will be sold in stores starting in February.

As if she doesn’t have enough on her plate, Nicole Richie is launching a new contemporary woman & baby clothing line called Winter Kate this Spring!

Winter Kate, which is named after her daughter Harlow’s middle name, will include 37 new pieces and will be available at major department stores!  Think: long dresses, trendy vests & jackets, and some chiffon tops.  How exciting!

Prior to Winter Kate, Richie launched her jewelry line, House of Harlow 1960 and a maternity collection for Pea in the Pod.

Of the new line, Nicole said:

“Fashion should be accessible. That was my philosophy when designing House of Harlow 1960 and it remains my philosophy for Winter.”

Can’t wait to see it!

Miley Cyrus has joined forces with Max Azria of BCBG and Max Azria fame, to make an affordable clothing line for young adults. She twittered yesterday to everyone that she had this huge announcement to make this morning.

“We’re really excited,” BCBG Max Azria Group rep Patrick McGregor tells E! News.

“I love creating looks that are all about personal expression and individuality,” Miley said in a statement. “Collaborating with Max Azria has been an amazing experience, and I’m really excited about launching this line with Wal-Mart. There’s even more to come!”

The line includes tops, pants, graphic tees, shoes, and accessories – all be priced under $20!

It will it Wal-Mart stores near you starting in early August.

Kristin Davis has announced that she is launching a southern-styled clothing line carried exclusively at North Carolina based department store chain, Belk Inc.

Davis said that she shopped their all the time growing up and recalls it being one of the nicest places she has ever shopped.

“The only way I would have done a line of clothing is to do it at Belk,” Davis said in a statement.  “I feel like I understand what the Southern woman wants to wear—it’s influenced my personal style so much, growing up in the South.”  Belk, who recently celebrated their 120th anniversary said it will be the biggest launch yet, and also their first celebrity apparel line.

Kristin’s collection promises to be “feminine” and “flirty.”  The pieces will reportedly include dresses, knits, jeans, handbags, shoes, jewelry and lingerie ranging from $38 to $240 per item.

The southren-inspired designs will be produced by LFUSA Regatta, the proprietary brand group of Li & Fung who’s collection also includes Kohl’s Simply Vera Vera Wang, Daisy Fuentes, Wal Mart’s Metro & 7, and the new LL Cool J collection for Sears.

The self proclaimed ‘Queen of Media’ is yet another celebrity person to create their own clothing line.

Perez Hilton announced plans to create a clothing and accessories line that will be exclusively sold at Hottopic.com.

His line for Hot Topic will feature women’s t-shirts, hoodies, accessories and footwear priced from $1.75 to $46, and will include products like Gossip Gangster Flip Flops, Perezcious Pink and Purple Lip Gloss and P-Nasty Shades. But these are only a few of his creations.

He also plans to sell tote bags, socks and earrings, and says fans will even be able to buy their own Perez Hilton journal, so they can write their own gossip columns.

Hilton has also been known to openly bash other celeb’s lines:

“I keep seeing these lines from the likes of Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag that give me nightmares,” he says. “My brand will be very conscious of my audience.”

Well…I guess he has a point about Heidi Montag’s line.

I just hope all his bashing doesn’t backfire if his line doesn’t sell!

Especially if it will sell an outfit like this!

What’s up with this new-all-of-a-sudden-craze of celebs wanting to launch their own clothing lines? Every week there’s somebody new announcing their new line. And even if they’re not creating it they’re promoting it. The newest celeb is Katie Holmes who wants to follow in her friend’s, Victoria Beckham, footsteps.

She’ll be joining Armani to create a collection called ‘Katie Holmes for Armani’ and will be using her daughter Suri as inspiration. The venture – which will be available in stores like Saks and Barneys New York – will kick off with a collection aimed at toddlers for spring 2009.

“Right now this is Katie’s life,” a source close to the Cruises tells OK!. “She is extremely excited about it.”

“The first clothes will all be things she could imagine Suri wearing,” confirms the source.

A collection for older children, a handbag line, and a women’s collection will follow.

The Hills, Lauren Conrad has her own fashion clothing line and is now putting on a fashion show to show them off.
