Exclusive Interview: What’s Gilles Marini Up to After DWTS?

Posted on 12 June 2009 by xXxTerra

We chatted with Gilles Marini at Oakley’s summer pool party after nearly winning Dancing with the Stars.  Being a fan of the show and Sex and the City, I could barely get words out of my mouth.  And that accent… O. M. G.

Watch what life’s been like post-DWTS:

Vanessa Hudgens, Gilles Marini, Cory Monteith & More Splash Around at Oakley’s Pool Party

Posted on 08 June 2009 by xXxTerra

There was a great turnout for Oakley’s Intro to Summer Event at Skybar at the Mondrian in West Hollywood.

The princesses of the party were Holly Montag and Staci Hall, the new dynamic duo of The Hills.  The two were seen flirting with Dancing with the StarsGilles Marini, as well as Staci’s sometimes boyfriend Frankie Delgado.  They then got friendly with 90210’s Josh Henderson and Cory Monteith from Fox’s highly anticipated show, Glee.  These girls move fast!

I basically melted for Cory, but anyway…

Other celeb guests included Vanessa Hudgens, Zachary Levi, Jack Coleman, Aimee Teegarden, Jonathan Silverman, Aaron Paul, Brooke Newton, Jonathon Schaech, Clifton Collins Jr, Kelly Hu, Sean Stewart, Shoshana Bush, Colby O’Donis, Alex Frost, Lesley Panettiere, Dominique Swain, Susie Castillo, Jonathan Bennett, Eva Marcille, Jana Kramer, Nikki Griffin, Jacob Vargas, Andrew Keegan, Damien Wayans, Craig Wayans, Corinne Kaplan, Mikalah Gordon, Brooke White, Lauren Storm, David Henrie, Julia Voth, America Olivo, Daniel Samonas, Walter Perez, Robbie Amell, Paul McGill, Noureen DeWulf, Roger Cross, Allen Evangelista, and others.

Celebrities Who Partied in Vegas This Weekend

Posted on 08 June 2009 by Lexacahn

This Saturday Audrina Patridge, star of MTV’s The Hills, showed up at Tao Beach in Las Vegas to celebrate her brother Mark’s birthday along with twenty of Mark’s friends, as well as their father Mark Sr.

Audrina showed off one of her infamous bikinis, this time one with a beautiful black and gold pattern, and took pictures with fans while the rest of her group partied at one of Tao Beach’s expansive cabanas.

Later in the night Audrina and her brother along with the rest of the party went to Tao for dinner, and enjoyed a meal that was specifically designed for them by the chef Mark Andelbradt.  Afterwards a cake was brought out for Mark Jr. and the entire restaurant sang “Happy Birthday” to him before he blew out the candles!

Nearby at LAVO, Dancing With The Stars dancers, friends and bandmates Mark Ballas and Derek Hough were celebrating their May birthdays together, blowing out their own candles to celebrate Mark’s 23rd birthday and Derek’s 24th!

Also partying at LAVO Saturday night was the famous Manchester United soccer club, who partied the night away with a British flag hanging above their table to show their team spirit!

Seems like Tao and LAVO are where it’s at this summer!!

Guess the Star Who Requested Lacey Schwimmer on DWTS

Posted on 07 June 2009 by xXxTerra

While at the Kardashian’s Spring Bling event in Vegas, Lacey Schwimmer said she will most likely be dancing with Donny Osmond in next season’s Dancing with the Stars because he requested her as a partner.

I’m not the biggest Osmond fan, in fact, I find him pretty annoying, but maybe he’ll surprise all of us.

Lacey also put rumors of a relationship with Steve-O to rest at the event, as she spent the weekend in Vegas with her new boyfriend John Derek Guthrie (Paula Abdul’s back-up dancer).  Lacey was seen dancing and getting cozy with John at the party and sat on his lap during the VIP reception.

Sorry, Steve-O… your moves were just no match against John’s.

Gilles Marini Spreads His Legs For Hollywire!

Posted on 28 May 2009 by Syndeee

Literally, I’m not exaggerating. Gilles Marini insisted on spreading his legs for us!

We wanted pics of him out at the pool at The Mondrian and he agreed, but he said we had to sit between his legs….if we didn’t agree, it was a deal breaker.  Now, what girl is gonna turn that offer down? Not one of us Hollywire Girls that’s for sure!

We were at The Mondrian for Oakley’s summer kick-off event, which was awesome btw–Free sunglasses and beach towels for everyone!

Gilles' comedic friend who opposed leg spreading photos

Gilles' comedic friend who opposed leg spreading photos :)

Gilles’ was a funny funny guy and so was his friend pictured above.  They admitted to us that they have a bit of a bromance going on, but it doesn’t extend past spotting each other at the gym & spending days together… well, and some nights too (but they sleep in separate beds people!  We promised not to start too many rumors).

We’ll have more pics & interviews for you soon.  For now, just know that our favorite celebs of the day were [obviously] Mr. Romantic-Linguistic-Dazzling-Stud-Muffin-Extraordinaire, Gilles Marini, the surprisingly sweet, Holly Montag (Heidi’s sister), & the charming boy next door, Corey Monteith (star of Glee)… stay tuned for more…

Cheryl Burke’s 25th Birthday in Vegas, Baby!

Posted on 26 May 2009 by xXxTerra

Getting a break following a grueling Dancing With the Stars season, Cheryl Burke finally found time to celebrate her 25th birthday on Friday night at LAVO inside The Palazzo.  She was with a group of friends, including her gorge model boyfriend Max Zagorski.

Cheryl’s DWTS-mate Edyta Sliwinska was also there to celebrate with her husband Alec Mazo and Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan.

They all wined and dined… then it was time for cake!  It was really cute… there was a little stage and mini Cheryl on it.

But the birthday girl and her boy took pieces of the masterpiece and shoved it in each other’s faces!  Max didn’t actually swallow any of it… he’s got a model physique to maintain.

After dinner, they went to the club and, of course, being the performer she is, Cheryl squeezed in a  costume change from the black mini Herve Leger dress to a turquoise dress by Blush.

I can’t really say what happened the rest of the night.  But you know what they say…

Anyway…

Happy birthday, Cheryl!

Lady GaGa’s Shakes Up the DWTS Finale With Her “Love Game”

Posted on 20 May 2009 by Lexacahn

Lady GaGa performed her new single Love Game on the season finale of Dancing With The Stars last night, and let me just say that this performance will convince anyone in doubt of her legitimacy that she is the real deal in terms of talent.  She sounds AMAZING live, so much so that if it weren’t blatantly obvious that she were singing live I would definitely say she was lip syncing.

Her dance routine is incredible too.  She truly is the next Madonna!

Check out Lady Gaga’s Love Game performance below!

Ty Murray Finally Eliminated From ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Posted on 13 May 2009 by Tammy Cakes

I like Ty Murray. I do and I love his partner, new comer Chelsie Hightower, but Ty can’t dance. He was a very good sport in all of this. But it was definitely his time to go.  Anyways, I think Ty was a little relieved. No one should have to be put through dance hell like that.

Thank God he went home this week because if he would have made it to the finals there would have been hell to pay.

So yay, that leaves us with the final three best dancers, Melissa Rycroft (who I am rooting for), Shawn Johnson, and Gilles Marini. This should be a really good season finally, can’t wait.
