LeAnn Rimes has finally publicly announced that she and her husband Dean Sheremet are getting a divorce.

“After much thoughtful mutual consideration, Deane [sic] and I have agreed to move forward with dissolving our marriage,”

“This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another. Thank you so much for all of your continued love and support—it is deeply appreciated.”

Sources close to the couple claim that the couples marriage had been over for some time now. This may or may not have been because of the affair LeAnn was having with her Northern Lights co-star Eddie Cibrian.

Cibrian also filed for divorce from his wife on August 25, before heading to Mexico with LeAnn.

Is this LeAnn and Eddie’s way of publicly saying that their together?

Yesterday, home wreckers LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were spotted having a golf date at the Valencia Country Club in CA.

“Eddie arrived at the private country club in his Porsche a few minutes before LeAnn,” an eyewitness tells People. “LeAnn was beaming when she saw Eddie and the two gave each other a quick hug. Eddie was sweet and went to buy water and energy drinks from the golf store.”

LeAnn, 26, and Eddie, 36, meet while filming Northern Lights, and have been linked romantically ever since the Lifetime movie aired, despite their many denials. A couple months ago Eddie’s wife Brandi Glaville announced the couple were separating due to LeAnn’s stalking and home wrecking behavior. And last month LeAnn announced that she was divorcing her husband Dean Sheremet. LeAnn and Eddie have not yet publicly announced their relationship.

After many months of the circulated rumors that Nothern Lights co-stars LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were having an affair and would soon be leaving their spouses, our speculations have come true.

Earlier this week Eddie’s wife, Brandi Glanville, relayed the news that they were breaking up and that Eddie and LeAnn deserved each other.

In today’s news, it is being reported that LeAnn and her husband Dean Sheremet have finally parted and are living in separate places.

A source reveals to People: “LeAnn and her husband have been separated for quite some time now, but they continue to try and work through their relationship.”

Now how long do you think it will be until LeAnn and Eddie go public? Do you think they’ll make the announcement before or after their divorces are final?

Awhile back, when the first pictures of LeAnn Rimes and her new husband, Dean Sheremet, went out I thought to myself, the man is cute, but looks sort of gay, hope it all works out for them. And now after seven years of marriage, rumors are being spread that Dean is gay.

The rumor first started when Usweekly got footage of LeAnn with her “Northern Light” co-star Eddie Cibrian on a date kissing at a restaurant.  The reasoning for this affair is that apparently Dean is gay. (Which explains LeAnn’s part but what about Eddie, who is married and has two small kids?)

Some are also saying that this could totally be a publicity stunt. Perfect scandel timing for LeAnn and Eddie to permote their new tv-movie don’t you think?

Anyways, according to Perez Hilton, one of Dean’s cousins called into Michigan’s ‘Mojo in the Morning’ radio show to say, “I mean, there were so many situations that happened when we were teenagers… He’s gay. He’s been gay since he was probably five.”

The self-proclaimed cousin added, “The family literally used to take bets on what age he would come out, and then all of the sudden he got married!”

Eddie Cibrian and Leann Rimes cheating

US Weekly UPDATE 3/19: LeAnn Rimes went onto her website to address her fans about the allegations that she cheated on her husband with her TV movie costar Eddie Cibrian.  But Mojo in the Morning has friends and family alleging otherwise!

The restaurant has a copy oh Eddie Cibrian’s credit card to prove it was him on the video.

She wrote “This is a difficult time for me and my loved ones, but I appreciate all your continued support.”

“I would like to assure all of you that this is a place for you to hear things directly from me and as you all know, not everything in our lives is always black and white.”

Before signing off, LeAnn tells fans, “have faith.”

Meanwhile her husband Dean Sheremet is standing by the country star. He Twittered a message of support on Wednesday writing “I Love My Wife!!!”

Eddie Cibrian is denying the story strongly. He said in a statement to Access Hollywood:

“Other than being friends and two actors who were romantically intertwined in a movie-for-television we filmed last fall, there is no truth to the reporting initiated by US Magazine”.
