Thanks to a huge internet rumor, many fans were crying over the loss of the Jonas Brothers. Thankfully it was a rumor, a very elaborate hoax that included a fake Fox News web page. The page looked very convincing, stating that:
At approximately 12 AM EST a small Cesna XLS jet crashed into hill several miles north of Wellington, New Zealand. All twelve passengers, including pop-stars Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas, are presumed dead. Details remain scarce, even as rescue crews have moved into the crash site to comb the countryside for survivors. No official statement from the Jonas family has been released
Fake web page claiming the Jonas Brothers died
The Jonas Brothers have not responded to the rumor, nor should they. Who ever did this has way too much time on their hands and they need to get over it and get a life! Thank goodness this is complete and utter fabrication, the Jonas Brothers are alive and well! So rest easy everyone, it’s going to be OK.
Lets celebrate by watching a Jo Bro music video, shall we!
Apparently there have been rumors that Zach Braff OD’d on prescription pills and died, but that is NOT true, and Zach himself made a video to prove it!
Yesterday it was Katt Williams who supposedly died in a plane crash; now today’s celebrity death rumor is that Lil’ Wayne was shot.
Who’ll be next? It wasn’t too long ago that the death hoax trend started with a false report that Lil’ Wayne’s daughter had been killed in a car accident. (Only a really nasty human being could start a rumor like that.) Then it was Miley who died; after Miley it was Oprah; followed by Katt Williams; and now, we’ve come full circle back to Lil’ Wayne himself.
It’s a new month, so I guess it’s time for a new death rumor.
The November victim is 35-year-old comedian Katt Williams. The rumor is that Katt was killed in a plane crash around 4:00 am Saturday morning, November 1st.
